The layout, design, and charting visualizations on HedgeFund Monitor are our intellectual property. The underlying data provided through our platform is sourced exclusively from the U.S. Office of Financial Research (OFR). The Site allows you to embed charts, download PNGs, and generate citations. Any use of our visualizations should cite HedgeFund Monitor and the OFR as the source.
2. Use of Service
Our service provides data for informational, educational, and research purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the site's infrastructure, including scraping data in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
- Claim affiliation with HedgeFund Monitor or the U.S. government without official authorization.
3. Data Accuracy and Availability
While we strive to provide accurate visualizations and timely updates based on the OFR API, we do not warrant that the data will always be fully up-to-date, accurate, or uninterrupted. The OFR data itself is subject to revisions and reporting lags. Our service is provided "as is" and "as available".
4. No Financial Advice
All information on HedgeFund Monitor, including charts, historical data, and quarterly reports, is strictly for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice, and you should not treat any of the Site's content as such.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HedgeFund Monitor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service.
